📢 U2SID Final Roundtable – Reflecting on Two Years of Collaboration

During this important event, we presented real-world digital solutions developed by student teams under the U2SID project. The roundtable brought together academics, students, and stakeholders to discuss the importance of collaboration and the positive outcomes when universities and society work hand in hand.

On 27th February, we officially kicked off the Final Conference of the Erasmus+ U2SID Project at Universiteti "Fan S. Noli", Korçë - UNIKO! 🎉
Over the past two years, this project has fostered inclusive digital transformation by bringing together universities, businesses, policymakers, and civil society to co-create digital solutions that address real-world challenges.

Digital Challenge at the Filozofski fakultet Niksic - zvanicna stranica, Univerzitet Crne Gore

In the framework of U2SID Project from December 2024 to the end of January 2025, two teams composed of students and professors from the University of Montenegro worked on solving challenges set by two stakeholders. The challenges set were a perfect opportunity for young people, under the mentorship of professors, to use their knowledge, creativity, experience and energy in jointly searching for and finding the most suitable digital solutions for issues of importance to the community. The challenges that the teams worked on were different. The related to the continued low attendance of cultural and sports events by young people produced a series of creative solutions that were tested and demonstrated their success. The second challenge related to the adoption of an organizational solution that is sustainable and can represent a model of organizational approach for other stakeholders.
The cooperation between social actors and universities in this project has shown mutual benefit. On the one hand, young people had the opportunity to actively engage their capacities in solving a specific problem and thus gain some experience that will be useful in their future profession, and on the other hand, stakeholders and the community itself, which in this way, with the help of the expert knowledge of the academic community, can solve many important issues.

Digital Solutions in Action at the Universiteti i Shkodrës "Luigj Gurakuqi" 📍
Our U2SID Project Digital Challenge teams are hard at work tackling real-world problems with innovative digital solutions!
📌Challenge 1: A local meat processing business needs a system to track its raw materials from entry into the building, through production, and all the way to the customer. Efficient, transparent, and transformative!
📌Challenge 2: The NGO Animals Need Me seeks a cutting-edge shelter management system to better care for stray animals, track adoptions, and manage vital data.
