LEAP for Her | Takim konsultues në qytetin e Lezhës

Në vijim të takimeve konsultuese në kuadër të projektit LEAP for Her – Lifelong Empowerment for Rural Women through Skills & Inclusion, u zhvillua takimi me aktorët vendorë dhe grupet e interesit në qytetin e Lezhës, me fokus fuqizimin e grave në zonat rurale përmes aftësive për punësim dhe përfshirjes aktive në jetën sociale dhe ekonomike.

Takimi shërbeu për prezantimin e objektivave të projektit, ndarjen e gjetjeve paraprake nga terreni dhe diskutimin mbi rolin e institucioneve dhe organizatave vendore në zbatimin e aktiviteteve në vijim.

Ky proces u realizua në kuadër të programit të përbashkët të OKB-së “Lifelong Empowerment and Protection in Albania”, financuar nga UN Women, dhe zbatohet nga Instituti për Ndryshim dhe Lidership në Shqipëri (INLSH) në bashkëpunim me organizatat partnere Gruaja te Gruaja – Shkodër, Unë Gruaja – Pogradec, DORCAS Albania – Korçë dhe Qendra Përfshirja Sociale për Zhvillim – Lezhë.

🤝 Final WE ARE HER Partner Meeting | Brussels

All partner organisations came together for the final face-to-face evaluation, reflecting on the project’s achievements, impact, and strong collaboration. The meeting celebrated shared commitment to gender equality and youth participation, while planning next steps to ensure the project’s results continue to make a lasting impact.

🌟 Final International Conference – WE ARE HER | Brussels, Oct 29, 2025

The WE ARE HER project concluded with an inspiring International Conference, following its final Youth Exchange on Gender Imbalances in Decision-Making and Politics. Youth ambassadors from all partner countries shared their experiences, leadership journeys, and local campaigns, including upcoming actions for the 16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence.

Panels with project partners highlighted achievements, lessons learned, and the power of youth-led advocacy. The conference closed with policy recommendations for advancing gender equality at local, national, and European levels—cementing the project’s lasting impact. 💜

🌍 Youth Exchange – WE ARE HER | Brussels, Oct24-30

Young ambassadors from Egypt, Lebanon, Greece, Türkiye, and Albania came together for a week of learning, dialogue, and empowerment. Through team-building, interactive workshops, and the Power Walk in Politics, participants explored how gender shapes leadership and political participation.

They also developed policy recommendations to amplify youth voices, visited the House of European History for insights on equality and inclusion, and concluded with an International Conference to share results and propose actionable steps for gender equality and women’s empowerment. 💜

🌍 May was a big month for the We Are Her project!

On May 24–25, our amazing partners gathered in Cairo 🇪🇬 for a Transnational Partners Meeting to discuss the upcoming Youth Exchanges and strengthen collaboration across countries.

At the same time, a Youth Exchange kicked off, bringing together participants from Lebanon, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, and Albania to explore gender gaps in employment across their countries. 💼💜

From May 24–30, they’re diving deep into how gender impacts access to opportunities in the job market — learning, sharing, and inspiring action!
