E-learning session on "Basic Knowledge on Garments Merchandising" at Department of Textile Engineering, Primeasia University

To bridge the academic gap of students with industry in Covid-19 pandemic situation 181 Batch, Department of Textile Engineering, Primeasia University and Textile Engineers Society jointly organised an e-learning program on "Basic Knowledge on Garments Merchandising" which will be 3 days long (26 - 28 July, 2021; 9:30 PM - 11:30 PM).

The Program will be inaugurated with the presence of Prof. Md. Abdul Khaleq, Head, Department of Textile Engineering as a Session Chair. Biswas Zubaer Anam Ove, Assistant Manager (Marketing & Merchandising), Epyllion Group will present as Guest and Fardous Ahmed, Merchandiser, TCW Trends Inc., Trainer (Textile Engineers Society) will present as Keynote Speaker.

The Programme will be technically hosted by Emdadul Haq, Lecturer & Assistant Proctor, Department of Textile Engineering, Primeasia University and Moderated by Badhon Saha, Student of 181 Batch, Department of Textile Engineering, Primeasia University.

The Textile Engineering Department, Primeasia University will provide overall support for conducting the program successfully.

All faculty members and students are cordially invited to join the program.

Primeasia University is going to organize the Freshers’ Reception Program for the admitted Students of Summer Semester 2021 on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 04:00 pm through the virtual platform.

The Textile Engineering Department of Primeasia University organized a Views Exchange Night with the students of all regular and evening batches on the night of 9th July through the virtual zoom platform. The full program was conducted under the guidance of Prof. M.A. Khaleq, Head, Department of Textile Engineering, Primeasia University.

Several students participated in the musical segment where they impressed the audience with their splendid singing quality. Especially, our student Most. Jinnatun Nesa from 181 batch was outstanding. Rahid Hassan Shovon from 191 Batch, Imon Hosen from 192 batch, Mamunur Rashid from 201 batch, Shibly Sadiqur Rahman, Adnan Faisal, Md. Ashiquzzaman, Sumaiya Sultana from 211 Batch and Md. Wasi Uddin Zisan, Md. Asraful Islam, Md. Shifat Jaman Rose, Samad Hossain Khan, Md. Razaul Karim, Asif Razwan Usshas, Reyad Hossin, Md. Abdullah Al Maruf Shakil, Md. Imran Farhat from 212 batch also performed very well. After the cultural program, a wonderful teacher-student discussion was held on that night as well. Students discussed their different aspects and the respected faculty members answered all of their queries. Finally, the students demanded more programs like this to cheer up their minds during this pandemic period.

Sushama Saha Swati, Assistant Professor, Emdadul Haq, Lecturer & Assistant Proctor, Ahmed Saber Shravan, Lecturer, Md. Arafat Rahman, Lecturer, Md. Salman Farsee, Lecturer, Md. Sakib-Uz-Zaman, Lecturer, and AFM Fahad Halim, Lecturer, were present in the program.
