Christ The King High School

Throwback from May, when we were honoured to welcome the World President and Executive Vice President of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) to Christ the King High School.

Their visit encouraged our young women to pursue excellence, embrace leadership opportunities, and become active citizens in their communities. We are grateful for the time they spent with our students and for the inspiring message they shared.

Thank you for visiting and for reminding our students that leadership begins with service, courage, and a willingness to make a difference.

Last Sunday, some of our students participated in the Corpus Christi Procession, walking alongside members of the parish community in celebration of the Eucharist.
Moments like these remind us that faith is not only taught in the classroom but lived in our daily lives.

Christ the King High School proudly congratulates alumna Joella Charles on earning her second Master's degree from Harvard University.

From the shores of Antigua to the halls of Harvard University, Joella Charles continues to demonstrate that the sky is truly the limit and the spirit of Excelsior.

Earlier this month, Charles graduated from Harvard University with a Master of Liberal Arts in Management, with a concentration in legal compliance, strategic management, and finance. Her achievement adds to an already impressive academic journey that includes studies at Columbia University and reflects years of dedication, perseverance, and hard work.

Surrounded by family and friends who travelled to Boston to celebrate this milestone, Charles marked the occasion with gratitude and a renewed commitment to excellence.

As she begins the next chapter of her professional career in New York City, she remains a shining example of what can be accomplished through faith, determination, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Her journey serves as an inspiration to young Antiguans and to all who dare to dream beyond their circumstances.

Congratulations, Joella. Your Christ the King High School family is proud of you and wishes you every success in the years ahead.

Congratulations to Kiara Kwenga, Junior Minister of Tourism, who placed second in the FCCA regional essay competition. Many thanks to Mrs. Jarvis who assisted her throughout the process and Mrs Victor Warrington for receiving on CKHS behalf.

Congratulations to Chloe Lewis who won the Diocesan Youth Month Theme and Logo Competition for her Church. We thank God for the gifts he has given her. May she continue to use her talents to inspire others.

Today was Teacher's Appreciation Day and our teachers were treated to snacks, fruit, food, wine, cards and gifts. Thank you to all our students and parents who support our teachers.
And a very special thank you to our teachers, who make a difference in so many lives.
