Delegates of USA, Yemen, Portugal, Estonia, and Spain of ECOSOC committee took the initiative in raising important points for discussion and were very active in preparing the final resolution. Overall all Delegates were active and engaged in debates in several unmoderated caucuses to prepare their final resolution.

Thanks from everyone especially from active delegates who contributed a lot to discussions.

Topic of discussion for General Assembly committee was" “The role and impact of youth leadership and education in developing sustainable peace in conflicted areas”. participants had hot and interesting debate in the committee. In unmoderated caucus Two blocks were formed and each of blocks discussed their solutions and practiced their lobbying skills, both blocks presented their solutions and finally managed to pass a final resolution at the end.

The topic of ECOSCO Committee was “The Role of Youth in sustainable development in developing countries. Delegates had hot debates on the topic, and they practiced their negotiation skill in order to convince each other. At the end of the last session, delegates have passed final resolution successfully.

In the opening ceremony, the Executive Board of Ariana MUN welcomed the delegates and guests to the conference. The Secretary General and Guests Speakers delivered their speeches about the importance of United Nations and youth involvement in global issues.

Ariana Model United Nation was the first UN simulation in Mazar-e-Sharif city which was held on 25th August 2016. Ariana MUN organizing team early in the morning welcomed the delegates and picked them up from Massoud avenue to the conference venue (Aria University). Delegates were registered to their committees GA and ECOSOC.
