Hello! Fardah Roshan Academy is a 501(c)3 educational nonprofit dedicated to increasing literacy among K-6 students in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

Our goal is to set up a school on every street. We recruit women from the community to convert their homes into “micro-schools” for the children in their neighborhood. This way, local children receive an education and their teachers can earn an income while building a profession.

Since our launch in November 2020, we have served almost 1000 students. We have also opened a public library for the students and plan to open many more.

We are committed to helping make education more accessible, and we hope you will join us on this journey!
