Ministry of Communication and IT (MCIT) celebrated the graduation of the third batch of ICT Start-ups from the Ibtikaar incubation program. The ceremony was held on April 19th, 2017 at Kabul Serena Hotel. H.E. Dr. Mohammad Hadi Hedayati - Acting Minister of Communication and Information Technology was the keynote speaker for this event including Engineer Abdul Mujeeb Mohmand Director E-Governance and leaders from industry, entrepreneurs, and representatives from government, civil society, academia, the international community and the mass media.
H.E. Dr. Mohammad Hadi Hedayati praised and congratulated the start-up companies on their graduation and presented them with certificates. H.E. Dr. Hedayati visited each start-up’s stand which displayed information about their products, achievements and the challenges they faced getting here. Appreciation certificates were awarded to the ibtikaar team who worked hard and made sure the project is a success.

An orientation/presentation took place at RANA University Conference Hall by MCIT-IBTIKAAR. IBTIKAAR is a start-up Technology Incubator implemented by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and supports newly established companies to grow and have a sustainable business.
MCIT-IBTIKAAR provides the following facilities/services for 6-9 months free of cost for those who plan to start their ICT Company.
1-Mentoring, 2-Business Advisory, 3-Business Plan, 4-Marketing & Networking, 5-physical Office space (furnished) with telephone and internet connectivity.

Two days' orientation sessions were organised for new applicants on the MCIT-Ibtikaar program on 20th and 21st June 2016. The participants had the opportunity to query on the application procedures and the benefits joining the business incubation program. The presentation was led by Roshan Kumar Seebaluck, Incubator Expert on MCIT-Ibtikaar premises. The sessions were also facilitated by the new incubator management team in place Omed Takhari, Milad Ada, Kubra Panahzada, Zahid Momand and Sayed Yousafzai.
