We are proud to share the successful completion of the Tailoring Training Program for another year in Istalif District, Kabul Province.

As part of the Peace Education & Vocational Training Initiative, implemented by Help The Afghan Children (HTAC), 120 students completed the program and gained practical tailoring skills that support self-reliance and long-term livelihoods.

To recognize their commitment and hard work, graduates were awarded certificates and tailoring machines, enabling them to take confident steps toward independent, income-generating opportunities.

This achievement reflects another year of progress, resilience, and hope, contributing to stronger individuals and a more empowered community.

A proud day for education in Jawzjan! 🎉
With the presence of the Governor of Jawzjan, heads of key government departments (Education & Economy), community elders, and the School Shura, the foundation stones for exciting school projects were officially laid. 🏫💧

Here’s what’s coming soon for our students:
🔹 A brand new 6+2 RCC classroom building at Jalalabad Girls’ High School in Sheberghan, expandable to a second floor, plus a 10-cabin latrine, boundary wall, solar-powered water well with filtration system, and a handwashing station.
🔹 A secure new boundary wall for Afsharkhana Secondary School.
🔹 Full renovation of an 8-classroom building, water well, and handwashing station at Yangi-Ariq Secondary School.

These projects are being carried out by Help the Afghan Children (HTAC) through the winning contractor, with the generous support of our international partners.

Every brick laid today is an investment in the future of Afghan children. 💙📚

𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 💡📘

The Sponsorship team successfully conducted a two-day Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) training for 100 school teachers (75 female and 25 male), along with a separate two-day Psychological First Aid (PFA) training for 30 female teachers across Sheberghan and Aqcha districts of Jawzjan province.

These capacity-building sessions enhanced teachers’ abilities to provide immediate and empathetic support to students in distress, helping create a more inclusive, responsive, and emotionally supportive learning environment. 💛📚

𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗼𝘆 & 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 🤝🎉

Our little stars of ECCD in Sakhiabad village, Sheberghan, shined bright as they took part in fun group activities and a cheerful ball-carrying game!
From laughter-filled teamwork to cheering for one another, these playful moments weren’t just games, they were lessons in confidence, balance, and building friendships.

We’re proud to see how these activities nurture both body and spirit, creating a joyful space for learning and growing together.

Empowering Education: June Activities in Support of Students and Teachers ✏️📚

Last month, HTAC carried out impactful educational activities including the distribution of school bags and stationery kits to students of Boghawi Sufla Boys High School, in Sar-e-Pul with the respected PED representative and school staff actively involved in the process

Additionally, a teacher capacity development training was conducted, focusing on pedagogy and modern teaching methodologies to enhance the quality of education. These efforts reflect our continued commitment to empowering both students and teachers across Afghanistan.

Building Stronger Families, One Session at a Time! 🔗

This week, we brought the Safe Family Common Approach sessions to Boghawi Afghania and Kohna Bazar villages, engaging both parents and children in meaningful discussions on creating safer and more supportive homes. With 10 male parents and 10 boys participating in Boghawi Afghania, and 10 female parents and 10 girls in Kohna Bazar, these sessions are shaping a future where every child feels protected, valued, and empowered. Change starts at home, and we’re proud to be part of this journey!
