Kainat educational organization (KEO) main aim is building 21st century schools system in Afghanistan. KEO is registered with the education ministry of Afghanistan was was one of the first english model school system opened in kabul with many branches, committed to deliver teaching student support services, with the prime objective of providing quality education. The academy is continuously invest
ing in better facilities to ensure that the people can make the most of their KEO experience, Students here study a diverse range of subjects and acquire knowledge and skills in an energizing envirionment. KEO provide an Islamic school atmosphere for children to gain a high-quality education. KEO will allow the community to raise their children in a manner where they will have the opportunity to be taught with tajweed and tafseer. We focus on the development of confidence, self-discipline and a positive self-image. Yar Stanekzai has been in the education sector for over 20 years. Stanekzai first started his career in teaching and working with NGO. He attended and took part in various seminars relating to teacher training, such as those organised by the government of Sweden, GTZ of German, UNHCR, IRC and Belgium. Stanekzai first began teaching in 1988 in Afghan Commessionerate School as a Maths teacher in Shashoo, Kurram agency. In 1991 he set-up English and literacy courses in 8 afghan refugee camps. When the Mujahedeen succeeded in the war against the soviets, all NGOs and other organizations that contributed to educating Afghan refugees, suspended their facilities, leading to the closure of all high schools in Kurram agency, NWFP. In 1995, Mr. Stanekzai, with the help of his dedicated team decided to open the very first high school for the afghan refugees settled in Kurram Agency, where education will be modern and of the same standards in relation to other schools in Peshawar. The school was named "Ghur Ghusht higher secondary school" and it was registered with the education ministry of Afghanistan. With a student population of over 600, "Ghur Ghusht" teaching staff used English as the dominant medium to teach their students. In 1996, Mr. Stanekzai visited refugee camps and pleaded the elders to send their girls to schools. After successful persuasion, Mr. Stanekzai established foundation schools in 5 camps, which then with the help of UNHCR, the responsibility of running those schools was placed at the hands of GTZ. Stanekzai put 100% effort into his first establishment, leading Ghur Ghusht high School to gain reputation and wide recognition amongst other Afghan schools in Pakistan as one of the top high schools. Its students graduated to different fields in Universities of Afghanistan. One student named Najeebullah achieved 2nd position at an Engineering course at University of Jalalabad. With the success of Ghur Ghusht high school, the local community of Pakistan (Pakistanis) requested the setup of schools for their children. Stanekzai and his team accomplished the task and opened a school in the area for Pakistani students. The school was named "Kurram cadet school" with segregated campuses for girls and boys. This was also the first school in the Kurram agency where students had to abide by the strict uniform rules of trousers, shirt and tie. (In 2002, the Pakistani government decided to expel Afghan refugees from Kurram agency, NWFP, Peshawar, there the school had to be moved to Board, Peshawar, Pakistan and started its operation there. When the international community came to Afghanistan to rebuild the war torn country, Mr. Stanekzai decided to return to the capital Kabul and introduce the English medium school system so that the Afghans in Afghanistan can benefit from the best of education. It soon established its first branch in kart e Naw area of Kabul. With the success of that school, a few months after, it further opened more branches in other areas such the Khushal khan, Khair khans, Kala fatullah areas of Kabul, with the most recent being opened in kart e 3. Yar Stanekzai has many ambitions for the younger generation of Afghanistan and is looking forward to getting involved and negotiating with Universities abroad. He hopes to provide facilities for KEO students to go abroad to complete their higher education and gain their qualifications. He also wishes to open branches across all provinces so that Afghans can benefit from high quality education.
