Punctuations

Punctuation is the use of certain marks or signs called punctuations. In spoken English we can usually show the meaning of a sentence by various pauses of the voices. In written English, however, the pauses are shown by stops called punctuation marks. And not to mention, the main aim of punctuation marks is clearness- to make the meaning of words and sentences clear. The most common punctuation marks are the period, comma, question mark, exclamation mark, colon, semicolon and quotation marks.
