Yaqub Mujahid: Afghans will never accept the Durand imaginary line as a border

Afghanistan’s Defense Minister, Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid, has said that Afghans will never accept the Durand imaginary line as an official border.

He made these remarks after rumors spread about the mention of the word “border” in the recent agreement between Afghanistan and Pakistan, mediated by Qatar.

Mujahid emphasized that there was no discussion about the Durand imaginary line in Qatar, and that it is unacceptable to any Afghan. He added that this decision does not belong to governments but rather to the Afghan nation itself.
