Typing is an important skill for TOEFL. If you can type quickly and easily, then you can concentrate on your great essay ideas instead of wondering what your fingers are doing!

You should aim for a typing speed of around 40 words per minute. But HOW you practice typing is also important. A lot of typing practice apps are designed for kids or for adults who aren’t taking exams. So the practice words are really basic and easy. To practice typing for TOEFL, you should practice with the kinds of words you’ll use in your essays. You could practice typing a reading passage, a lecture transcript, or even retype one of your old essays as this is great practice and combines many language skills.

Make sure you’re familiar with the correct punctuation to use as well. You should make sure you add ONE space after a comma, and at the end of every sentence. You might still see some old resources with two spaces but this style goes back to the days of typewriters and isn’t used anymore! Also, make sure you add a blank line between each paragraph. If you do this, then you don’t need to indent the first line of a paragraph (this is also considered old-fashioned now).

Finally, consider the keyboard you’re practicing on. Most of us nowadays are used to typing on nice laptops or touch screens. But the computers in TOEFL exams are usually on those big clunky keyboards and they require a slightly different action. Try to get some experience practicing on one of these keyboards – perhaps in your school or local library. Then, when you’re faced with one in the exam, it won’t be such a strange experience.

1- Getting to know the test environment
Maybe you have done TOEFL ® exercises many times or checked the questions related to one of the reading, listening, speaking and writing sections . But have you ever completed the entire test in simulation from start to finish?

4 Reducing Financial risk
The cost of the TOEFL® test in Iran is $ 245 , which is relatively high. Therefore, it is not beneficial for you to fail the test and want to participate in this test again. Therefore, it is better to participate in mock tests and measure yourself in these tests, find your problems, fix them and then register for the main test.
