(Direct & Indirect Questions)*

(Direct Questions)

Do you have a car?

Where did you go yesterday?

(Indirect Questions)

Could you tell me if you have a car?

Could you tell me where you went yesterday?

Could you tell me …

Can you tell me …

Do you know …

Do you remember …

2. در سؤالات بله/خیر (Yes/No) از if یا whether استفاده می‌کنیم،
اما در سؤالات WH همان کلمه‌ی پرسشی (what, where, when, who…)

3. افعال کمکی do / does / did حذف می‌شوند.

4. سایر افعال کمکی مثل have، has، can، will یا افعال to be حذف نمی‌شوند.

5. در سؤالات منفی، do / does / did حذف نمی‌شوند.

1.

Direct: Did Ajmal call you?
Indirect: Could you tell me if Ajmal called you?

2.

Direct: Will your father go there?
Indirect: Do you know if your father will go there?

3.

Direct: When is Ahmad coming here?
Indirect: Could you tell me when Ahmad is coming here?

✨ Mastering Gerunds & Infinitives ✨
Today’s class focused on one of the most important grammar points for academic and fluent writing: the forms of gerunds and infinitives — simple, perfect, active, and passive.

From reading to being invited, from to work to to have been helped, my students explored how each form changes meaning, time, and usage in a sentence.

Proud of their progress and dedication! 📘✍️
