An elephant and a dog became pregnant at the same time. Three months down the line, the dog gave birth to six puppies.
Six months later, the dog was pregnant again, and nine months on it gave birth to another dozen puppies. The pattern continued.
On the eighteenth month, the dog approached the elephant questioning, "Are you sure that you are pregnant? We became pregnant on the same date. I have given birth three times to a dozen puppies and they are now grown to become big dogs, yet you are still pregnant. What's going on?"
The elephant replied, "There is something I want you to understand. What I am carrying is not a puppy but an elephant. I only give birth to one in two years. When my baby hits the ground, the earth feels it. When my baby crosses the road, human beings stop and watch in admiration, what I carry draws attention. So what I'm carrying is mighty and great."
Don't lose faith when you see others receive answers to their prayers in what seems like record time. Don't be envious of others' testimony. If you haven't received your own blessings, don't despair.
Say to yourself "My time is coming, and when it hits the surface of the earth, people shall yield in admiration."

The Top Skills Companies Need Most in 2020—And How to Learn Them
Whatever your goals are for 2020— to take on a bigger project, start a new job, lead a team— learning these skills can help you stand out for that next opportunity.
Consider this your guide to the skills most worth learning this year
The Soft Skills Companies Need Most in 2020
What you need to know about 2020’s trending soft skills:
Soft skills are the essential interpersonal skills that make or break our ability to get things done in our current jobs and take on new opportunities ahead.
Topping this year’s list are creativity, collaboration, persuasion, and emotional intelligence—all skills that demonstrate how we work with others and bring new ideas to the table. Four of the five most in-demand soft skills remain in their top spots year over year, further reinforcing that these skills are evergreen—they’re likely to remain the top skills that companies want in star employees.
The one variation in the most in-demand soft skills list indicates that companies are gravitating toward talent with interpersonal and people-oriented skills. ‘Time management’, a more task-oriented skill, fell off the top soft skills list. ‘Emotional intelligence’ took its place. While task-oriented skills remain critical to our success at work, the data shows that employers value our ability to work well with colleagues.
The top 5 most in-demand soft skills are:
1 Creativity
Organizations need people who can creatively approach problems and tasks across all business roles, from software engineering to HR. Focus on honing your ability to bring new ideas to the table in 2020.
2 Persuasion
Leaders and hiring managers value individuals who can explain the “why.” To advance your career, brush up on your ability to effectively communicate ideas and persuade your colleagues and stakeholders that it’s in their best interest to follow your lead.
3 Collaboration
High-functioning teams can accomplish more than any individual—and organizations know it. Learn how your strengths can complement those of your colleagues to reach a common goal.
4 Adaptability
The only constant in life—and in business—is change. To stand out in 2020, embrace that reality and make sure to show up with a positive attitude and open-minded professionalism, especially in stressful situations.
5 Emotional Intelligence - New
Emotional intelligence is the ability to perceive, evaluate, and respond to your own emotions and the emotions of others. New to the most in-demand skills list this year, the need for emotional intelligence underscores the importance of effectively responding to and interacting with our colleagues.
The Hard Skills Companies Need Most in 2020
What you need to know about 2020’s trending hard skills:
While the most in-demand soft skills are all about how we work together, the most in-demand hard skills are the ones changing what we’re working on.
Many of these skills will continue to evolve rapidly. For example, for the first time this year, blockchain not only made the list of top skills but topped it—highlighting an increasing awareness and demand for the wider applications of this skill.
Trending data also reveals that data-driven decision-making skills like business analysis up to ten spots from last year are essential in today’s workforce. As companies continue to collect and analyze more data than ever before, they need people who can help interpret and take action on that data to drive growth for their business.
The top 10 most in-demand hard skills are:
1 Blockchain - New
Blockchain was born in 2009 to support the use of cryptocurrency. But blockchain’s novel way to store, validate, authorize, and move data across the internet has evolved to securely store and send any digital asset. The small supply of professionals who have this skill is in high demand.
2 Cloud Computing
Today, companies are built and run on the cloud. They need talent who have the skills to help them drive technical architecture, design, and delivery of cloud systems like Microsoft Azure.
3 Analytical Reasoning
Data has become the foundation of every single business. Organizations want talent who can make sense of it and uncover insights that drive the best decisions for the business.
4 Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence (AI) augments the capabilities of the human workforce. The people who can harness the power of AI, machine learning, and natural language processing are the ones who will help organizations deliver more relevant, personalized, and innovative products and services.
5 UX Design
It seems like the average attention span of consumers decreases every year and they have little patience for products that aren't intuitive. Organizations need more expertise to help them build more human-centric products and experiences.
6 Business Analysis
The business analysis made the most significant jump of any skill on our list. It's one of the few hard skills every professional should have, as most roles require some level of business analysis to make decisions.
7 Affiliate Marketing - New
With the decline of traditional advertising and the rise of social media, affiliate marketing is rapidly rising as a must-have hard skill. Affiliate marketing leverages company partnerships or influencers that are hyper-targeted to a particular audience.
8 Sales
You’d be hard-pressed to find a company that doesn’t need great salespeople—those who can effectively manage a sales team, understand the sales funnel, work with cross-functional partners, and sell into the highest levels of the business.
9 Scientific Computing
Scientific computing skills are held by data science professionals, engineers, and software architects, and others. Companies need more professionals that can develop machine learning models and apply statistical and analytical approaches to large data sets using programs like Python, MATLAB, and others.
10 Video Production
Consumers have an insatiable appetite for video content, so it makes sense that video production continues to be a priority for companies. Cisco estimates that video will account for 82% of global internet traffic in 2022.

Global Powers Pledge $298 Million to Lebanon After Blast
Leaders from more than two dozen countries participated in a virtual donors’add conference Sunday co-hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron and the United Nations.
“In these horrendous times, Lebanon is not alone,” the participants said in the statement.
The leaders pledged a total amount of 252.7 million euros ($298 million) for emergency relief, according to Macron’s office, including 30 million euros from France.
His office said the money is immediate relief to go directly to Lebanese people and aid groups. Later assistance would be contingent on political reform.
Pledges include $20 million from Germany and $41 million from Kuwait. The European Commission is offering 63 million euros and Qatar is putting up $50 million, Lebanese TV network Al Jadeed reported. Cyprus also pledged 5 million euros, the Lebanese presidency said.
The blast, caused by an explosion of chemicals stored at the city’s main port, killed more than 150 people, injured 6,000 and left hundreds of thousands homeless.
Lebanon has arrested 20 people since the blast, which was caused by 2,750 tons of explosive materials left for six years at the country’s main port despite repeated safety warnings.

If you are struggling to find exactly the material you are looking for, try Open Culture’s listing of free online education courses. The page highlights 1000 lectures, videos and podcasts from universities around the world. 4. Udemy
Udemy’s free courses are similar in concept to Coursera’s but additionally allows users to build custom courses from lessons.

It’s a great option if users need certification for their learning as Alison also offers school curriculum courses.
8. iTunesU Free Courses
A very convenient place for free online education is iTunesU, because it integrates seamlessly with your iPod, or any app-ready Apple mobile device. On iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch, users download the iTunesU app.

Open Yale Courses echoes Harvard Extension and Stanford Online, in that it offers only courses from Yale. Dear Sir,
Sub.: Reminder for paying dues.
This is to remind you that your organization has taken a loan of Rs. 2 crores two years back on June 18. As per the agreement and loan guidelines, on completion of one and a half year, you would need to pay back the 80% of the principal amount with the appropriate interest.
Since now we have received just 50% of the principal amount. As the payment is due since long, we would appreciate if you send the cheque immediately.
I request you to kindly look into the matter within the next six working days. Otherwise, strict legal action will be taken. Kindly acknowledge the matter.
Thanking You.
Yours Sincerely
FMG
