The CUCA community celebrated women’s achievements on International Women’s Day.
CUCA President met with faculty and HODs to recognise and commend their contributions and efforts towards the success of CUCA and students gifted each other to celebrate the occasion.

H. H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, inaugurated the 7th edition of the Ajman International Exhibition for Education and Training (AETEX). The exhibition is organized by the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and will remain open until Thursday, 7 February, 2019 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Emirates Hospitality Centre in Ajman.

CUCA’s sponsorship of AETEX aims to support and express pride in Ajman’s continuous efforts towards developing and enhancing the educational sector. Its participation seeks to establish a direct link between educational institutions, students, stakeholders, and industry leaders. It further aims to enhance the communication, cooperation and partnerships between the exhibitors.
CUCA will provide students who register during the exhibition a waiver of admission fees.

‏CUCA’s Department of Human Resource Management organized a field visit to Ajman Municipality and Planning Department’s Human Resources to provide first hand experience to students on their roles and responsibilities in the field. The students were given the opportunity to relate and implement what they have learnt through their studies to the actual work place.

‏ The director of the human resources department and administration provided a detailed explanation to the students about the functions of the human resources department in the municipality.
قام قسم إدارة الموارد البشرية بالكلية بتنظيم زيارة ميدانية لإدارة الموارد البشرية بدائرة البلدية والتخطيط بعجمان ، للاطلاع على ممارسات وظائف إدارة الموارد البشرية بأقسامها المختلفة على أرض الواقع لتعزيز وصقل المعلومات النظرية بالواقع العملي في ميدان العمل. و قام مدير إدارة الموارد البشرية بالبلدية وطاقم العمل بالإدارة بتقديم شرح تفصيلي للطلاب عن وظائف إدارة الموارد البشرية بالبلدية.

CUCA participated and volunteered at the “Walk Unified” for the Host Town Program in Ajman- Special Olympics 2019 in the presence of H. H. Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman Tourism Development Department, and H. E. Hessa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development. CUCA President and Vice Chancellor joined the Walk Unified to show their support for the cause as we share common values of empowerment and inclusion.

Certificates of appreciation from His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation, Chairman of the Emirates Airline Group, and Honorary Sponsor of the Dubai Quality Group, to City University College of Ajman’s PRA department for their innovative projects titled: “Intellectual Dimensions of Sheikh Zayed Leadership" and "Zayed in the Eyes of History". These projects were nominated to win the Innovation Category in the field of promoting national identity in the UAE Ideas Award.

CUCA MIS and PRA students showcased their innovative projects at the “Innovate for Health Exhibition” organized by Ajman Speciality Hospital and inaugurated by H. E. Dr. Sheikh Majid bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ruler’s Court Ajman.
