Drawing inspiration from the maritime legacy of the Al Qasimi, the ruling family of , the American University of Sharjah’s International Exchange Office announces a distinctive collaboration with , offering a truly rare experiential learning opportunity to our community and the United Arab Emirates.

Step aboard Bark Europa, a historic Dutch tall ship built in 1911, where students learn through shared responsibility, discovery, and life at sea. Sailing as one crew, participants navigate extraordinary destinations across the world, including Antarctica.

This is more than an exchange.
It is a journey that builds character, confidence, and perspective long after the voyage ends.
