Today, the children learned about space and the solar system. We talked about how we live on Planet Earth and learned that Earth is one of the planets that orbits the Sun. The children also discovered how astronauts travel to the Moon using rockets and spacecraft. They enjoyed taking part in a simple astronaut experiment and explored what it might feel like to be a space explorer. To finish the day, the children created a fun astronaut-on-the-Moon craft activity. 🚀🌍🌙
