Design Thinking for Innovation in Banking Services, a customized workshop by Kathryn Best, Assoc. Professor of Design in the AUS College of Architecture, Art and Design (CAAD) for senior staff of Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD). The program applies design thinking concepts for innovation in banking sector. It is a great example of the interdisciplinary nature of Executive Education.

An engaging executive workshop by Dr. Savita Kumra, Associate Professor of Management at the American University of Sharjah on "Making merit count for women" at the Women's Economic Empowerment Summit, where she covered:
1. The concept of merit and what it is supposed to deliver.
2. The current implications for women.
3. The concept of ‘deservingness’ as a bridge between outcome and intention.
4. To develop personal strategies to ensure merit is recognised.
