The children created a Water Cycle Experiment using a simple zip-lock bag and are now ready to observe the processes of evaporation and precipitation right before their eyes.

Our FS1 children delved into the captivating topic of Life Cycles. Our recent focus has been on the mesmerising journey of the butterfly's life cycle.

Engaging in various activities centered around the metamorphosis of the caterpillar, our students were brimming with enthusiasm.

The tale of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' sparked immense interest among the children. They eagerly participated in a session where they determined the quantity of fruits to nourish our classroom caterpillar. This exercise not only involved counting fruit pictures but also honed their skills in numerical sequencing and number recognition.

The experience was nothing short of extraordinary, as the classroom buzzed with excitement and encouragement for their peers. It truly was a memorable learning endeavor, rich with joy and enthusiasm.

Happy Mark Making Day! Mark making isn't just scribbles - it's a foundational skill for young children!

It strengthens their little hands for future writing (think hand gymnastics!), lets them explore their creativity freely, and is a sensory adventure with all sorts of textures and colours. Plus, it's a blast!

Children love the messiness, the sense of accomplishment seeing their creations, and the exciting exploration of different materials. It's a win-win for development and fun!
