1,550 new teachers. 10,000+ educators. 112 nationalities. One GEMS family. 🇦🇪

GEMS Awareness Day 2026 marked a significant moment for our global education community, bringing together our newest colleagues as they begin their journey with GEMS. It was a celebration of the scale, diversity and shared values that unite us and a meaningful welcome to the educators who will help shape the future of every child.

Ultimately, it is our people who make GEMS a family. Their passion, commitment and care are at the heart of everything we do. As we celebrate the Year of the Family, we are reminded that family comes first: supporting one another, celebrating our shared achievements and creating a community where everyone feels they belong.

A particularly powerful moment came when our Chairman and Founder, Sunny Varkey, called on GEMS teachers to stand and give a one-minute applause in recognition of the leadership of the UAE, a heartfelt expression of gratitude, respect and pride for the country we are privileged to call home.

Our strength is in our people, and in what we achieve when we come together as one GEMS family.

Family first. Shared values. One purpose. One GEMS. 🇦🇪👏

✨ 2025/26 Flashback | Community Collaboration ✨

As we look back on some of the memorable moments from the 2025/26 academic year, we’re proud to celebrate the connections that helped strengthen our wider community.

Our visit to Al Jalila Nursery was a wonderful opportunity to come together, share experiences and build meaningful links between our school and early years partners. From engaging with the children to sharing stories and ideas, it was a day full of warmth, learning and collaboration.

Partnerships like these play an important role in supporting young learners and creating a strong, connected educational community across Fujairah. We look forward to building on these relationships in the year ahead. 🤝📚✨
