Seven quick tips for your child’ safety on a high chair!

1. STABILITY: make sure the high chair is stable.
2. LOCKING: if the chair folds, make sure it’s tightly locked.
3. SAFETY STRAPS: use the safety straps to prevent your child from slipping down
and be injured.
4. SEATING: ALWAYS keep your child seated! Never allow your child to stand in the
high chair.
5. POSITIONING: do not place the high chair near a counter or table. Your child may
push hard enough against these surfaces to tip the chair over.
6. PERMANENT: never leave a young child alone in a high chair.
7. ADDITIONAL SECURITY: if you plan to use a high chair that hooks onto a table,
look for one that locks onto the table and make sure the table is heavy enough to
support your child's weight.
