This week, we read a traditional Korean folktale called The Lazy Boy Who Became a Cow. 🐄
The story is about a boy who loves to eat and sleep and doesn’t like to work. He becomes jealous of a cow and magically turns into one after wearing a cow mask. After working hard on a farm for a long time, he finally eats a radish, breaks the spell, and returns to his mother.
Through the story, the children made their own cow masks, explored what cows eat, and enjoyed a fun milking activity. We also practiced doing things independently—washing our hands and putting on our shoes, more independant🥰
