Today, we read the Korean folktale “The Lazy Man Who Became a Cow” and participated in a cooking activity connected to the story: “Making Sweet and Sour Colorful Kkakddugi (Diced Radish Kimchi).”

​We talked about the exciting scene where the lazy man eats a radish and turns back into a human.
We also explored radishes and other healthy ingredients such as paprika, apple.

The children had a great time cutting radishes, colorful bell peppers, and apples, and mixing them together with the mild seasoning they helped make!
​Your child is bringing home the special kimchi made with their very own hands today.
“I made this kimchi myself!”.

✨ 책이 살아 숨 쉬는 2026 Dream Summer Camp 📚🥣

이번 주에는 한국 전래동화 를 함께 읽고, 이야기 속에 등장하는 전통 팥죽을 직접 끓여 보며 맛보는 특별한 시간을 가졌습니다.

책 속 이야기가 요리가 되고, 오감으로 경험하며 아이들의 추억이 됩니다.
읽기에서 끝나지 않고, 직접 만들고 맛보며 한국의 문화까지 자연스럽게 배우는 시간.

두바이 드림센터에서는 책이 살아 움직입니다. ❤️

✨ Where Stories Come to Life at 2025 Dream Summer Camp 📚🥣

This week, our children enjoyed the beloved Korean folktale “The Old Lady and the Tiger” and brought the story to life by cooking and tasting traditional Korean red bean porridge (Patjuk) together.

Stories become experiences, and books become lasting memories.
At Dubai Dream Center, children don’t just read—they create, cook, taste, and discover Korean culture with all five senses.

We read the traditional Korean folktale “The red bean porridge Grandma and the Tiger” together.

🐯Afterward, we brought the story to life by making paper tiger puppets inspired by the tiger who tries to catch the grandmother!
​The children put their paper tiger puppets on their hands and playfully let out cute little “ROAR!”s to the friends sitting next to them. It was absolutely adorable to watch!
