Big dreams often begin with small ideas. ❤️

The GEMS Family Innovation Challenge x Startopia gave 8-year-old Ellize the confidence to step up as a leader while showing that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference.

As her mum, Nimfa Florendo, shared:
"She was excited to lead and become CEO."

Because when children are empowered to lead with purpose, they don't just imagine a better future, they help create it.

GEMS of the UAE

The story of the UAE is made up of millions of stories. Yours is one of them 🇦🇪

For more than six decades, GEMS has grown alongside this nation, through generations of students, families, educators, alumni and colleagues who have called the UAE home.

GEMS of the UAE is a celebration of the people who’ve grown alongside the UAE their stories, their memories and the moments that have shaped their lives here.

So, let’s start with one question:
What made the UAE feel like home to you?👇

For 8-year-old Avnii, the GEMS Family Innovation Challenge x Startopia sparked a new way of thinking, and a new ambition.

As her mum, Dr Divya Khanna, reflected:
"She started to think on a different tangent. She realised, 'I can be a businesswoman.'"

By encouraging curiosity, creativity and collaboration, we're helping the next generation dream bigger and believe in what's possible.

Did you know that 90% of a child's brain development happens before the age of five?

During these early years, children develop the foundations for learning, communication, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.

That's why quality Early Years education matters. It nurtures curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.

The first five years don't just prepare children for school, they help shape their future.

At GEMS Education, we believe language, culture and values are an essential part of the learning journey.

Through Arabic language, Islamic values and Emirati culture, we give our students an education that strengthens their identity, deepens their connection to their roots and inspires their future.
