Crescotec

Crescotec We are a UAE based software development company. Our products are tailor-made for the Arabic market, especially the GCC countries. Welcome aboard.

CRESCOtec started as IT support for CRESCO Holding. The company was responsible to provide software solutions to the different teams and companies within CRESCO Holding. In 2015 CRESCOtec took over the rights on the COTS Madreqat software
products and promised the clients of Madreqat to continue customer support and to further develop the software packages. Some key people of Madreqat joined the team and allowed a smooth transition of knowhow and clients to CRESCOtec. This integration transformed CRESCOtec from an internal service provider to an active player in the software industry in the UAE and the GCC region. The unique direct access to specialists like accountants and lawyers within CRESCO Holding provides
CRESCOtec with a sound foundation for further growth and inspiration to further develop the software products according to legal and professional requirements. We are convinced, that CRESCOtec can successfully extend it’s excellent service quality to external clients.

Dubai is taking a giant leap towards sustainable last-mile deliveries with this exciting pilot program. These cutting-edge robots will not only enhance convenience but also align with Dubai's visionary goal of transitioning to smart and driverless transport by 2030.

How it works: For the pilot three delivery robots will serve the residents of Cedre Villas, a gated community in Dubai Silicon Oasis. Robots will travel within a three-kilometre radius of the Cedre Shopping Centre starting point to ensure a speedy 15-minute delivery time.

The robots come without any facial recognition detection and safeguard people's identities by blurring their faces.

They are fitted with built-in sensors and algorithms that can intelligently gauge surroundings and detect barriers in their pathway, keeping a safe distance from small children and pets.

Robots will transport orders from the nearest restaurant to homes in the Cedre Villas community and will meet customers at their doorsteps. Customers will be able to track the robots' journey and will receive notifications through the Talabat app when they arrive at their property. Once the robot arrives, customers can unlock the secure compartment by following the steps provided on the app.
