Building Community Before We Open

Last Friday, our Ash Mount families came together for an afternoon of connection, discovery and fun as we welcomed our academy, music and catering partners to our growing community.

The aim was simple: to build friendships, explore the opportunities available beyond the school day and, most importantly, enjoy spending time together as part of the Ash Mount family.

A huge thank you to our partners Brooklyn Music and Master Cook for helping create such a memorable event. From music and sport to delicious food and shared experiences, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The smiles, laughter and new friendships formed throughout the afternoon perfectly reflected our vision:

At Ash Mount, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom. By bringing families together, creating opportunities to connect and nurturing a genuine sense of belonging, we are building a community where every child and family can thrive.

Choosing a school is an important moment for every family, and it should feel personal, clear and supported.

In response to conversations with our parent community, we’ve created a range of ways to connect, thoughtfully designed around families balancing online learning, work and parenting.

Whether you prefer to meet in person within your local community, join us online during the school day, or connect in the evening after a busy day, there is a space for you.

Our Coffee & Connect sessions are relaxed, open conversations where you can meet the Ash Mount team, hear about our vision, and ask anything you would like to know.

Every space at Ash Mount has been designed to inspire, supporting curiosity, creativity and wellbeing through environments that children genuinely want to be in.

Because meaningful conversations shouldn’t be rushed, and outstanding schools are built on strong relationships.

Our online New Families Information Session is your opportunity to learn everything you need to know before Ash Mount School opens.

We’ll cover key information about the start of term, answer your questions and help ensure your family feels confident and prepared for the exciting journey ahead.

Families will receive an email with the joining link and a form where questions can be submitted in advance.

Following the session, families will also receive details about downloading Madrasa, our new school communication app. Madrasa will become your central hub for the Parent Handbook, school information, updates and communications, making it easy to stay connected and informed.

This Friday, we are delighted to welcome the Choir Master from One Day Choir to lead a unique event exclusively for our enrolled Ash Mount families.

In just one afternoon, we will learn and perform a song that reflects our shared vision of creating a school where children thrive, families belong and community sits at the heart of everything we do.

You do not need to be musical.
You do not need to be able to sing.
You simply need to be willing to join in.

As an IB school, we believe in learning through authentic experiences that bring people together. This event is a wonderful opportunity for children, parents and staff to demonstrate the Learner Profile attributes in action, as communicators, open-minded, caring and courageous members of our growing community.

This event is open exclusively to enrolled Ash Mount families.

Ash Mount Community Sports Event – Tomorrow!

The countdown is on!

We are looking forward to welcoming our enrolled founding families tomorrow for the first Ash Mount School Academy Community Event.

This special afternoon is an opportunity for children to get active, have fun and continue building friendships with future classmates, while parents connect with other founding families and members of the Ash Mount team.

Alongside a range of exciting activities led by our Academy partners, families will also have the opportunity to:

We are delighted to announce FC Barcelona Academy Dubai as Ash Mount School’s official football academy partner.

At Ash Mount School, we believe that sport plays a vital role in helping children develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and a lifelong love of being active. Through our partnership with Barça Academy Dubai, our students will have access to one of the world’s most respected football development programmes, built on the values and methodology of FC Barcelona.

From September 2026, Barça Academy Dubai will deliver high-quality football coaching on our campus, providing opportunities for children of all abilities to develop their skills, enjoy the game and learn what it means to play with passion, respect and integrity.

This partnership is another exciting step in building a vibrant programme of academies and enrichment opportunities for our students and wider community.
