Our Story

Arabian Child was created in 2009. Its headquarters are in Dubai, UAE, providing training, advocacy, and research services in all aspects of early childhood education, care, and protection at individual and organizational levels. Since inception, it has been working arduously to improve the quality of early childhood education and care by defining standards for childcare practices, empowering professionals through training and qualification programs, and collaborating with local regulators and educators, as well as international partners. Arabian Child has contributed to catalyze the sector to move towards improving its policies for regulating the quality of early childhood education and care.

The first training organization authorized by the Ministry of Social Affairs (United Arab Emirates) design and delivery of a national program for early years training for all staff working within a childcare setting, including teaching assistants, teachers, and leaders.

The center of excellence for child protection training awarded by the Ministry of Interior (United Arab Emirates). The region’s first internationally accredited child protection training programs, created for the Middle East and endorsed and delivered in partnership with the Scottish Police College.

The first international partner of the Council for Professional Recognition, USA, offering The Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
