At GEMS Modern Academy, we believe in equipping our 21st-century student leaders with more than just designations. We invest in real, hands-on skills they can carry back into their school and wider community.

This week, our Middle and Senior School student leaders each engage in dedicated workshops with their own lineup of expert practitioners - empowering them to lead with purpose, confidence, and impact.

Here’s to raising leaders who don’t just talk about change - they know how to create it.

Proud to share that GEMS Modern Academy has once again been recognised as a Microsoft Showcase School for 2026–2027.
For us, this recognition is not simply about technology. It reflects a culture where our educators continuously learn, experiment and innovate, and where our students are empowered to create, collaborate, think critically and lead their own learning.
As education enters an increasingly AI-powered world, our focus remains clear: using technology with purpose, responsibility and human-centred thinking to strengthen teaching, deepen learning and open new possibilities for every learner.
We are excited to continue learning alongside the global Microsoft education community, sharing our practices and exploring how AI, digital tools and emerging technologies can augment great teaching rather than replace what makes learning deeply human.
A huge thank you to our educators, students and leaders who continue to push boundaries, challenge convention and make innovation part of everyday learning at Modern.

The journey continues.

Another year, another set of solid outcomes.

We remain committed to keeping teaching and learning firmly at the fore, building on our culture of excellence and the legacy that has shaped Modern over the years.

Dubai’s place among the world’s top 10 in the latest PISA results is a remarkable achievement, and one that speaks to the ambition and investment this country continues to make in education.

We are proud to be part of Dubai’s educational journey, and are committed to playing our part in its next chapter.
