Most interior design students spend hours perfecting their design boards… but forget one important skill - Presentation.
A client doesn’t just approve a design because it looks good. They approve it when they understand the idea behind it. That’s why the way you present your concept, guide the client through the space, and explain your decisions clearly matters just as much as the design itself. In professional practice, presentation is not just showing drawings. It’s about communicating the vision with clarity and confidence.

Our Styling & Staging student, Mae Demetillo, presented her final presentation board, beautifully showcasing how thoughtful styling can bring a concept to life.
From the curated color palette and layered textures to the furniture selections and accessories, every element was carefully composed to create a cohesive visual story. The balance of materials, artwork, and soft furnishings reflects a strong understanding of styling principles and spatial harmony.
It’s always inspiring to see students transform ideas into a well-presented design narrative.

💡One of the most common mistakes interior design students make - choosing the same light temperature for every room. Lighting isn’t just about brightness. It’s about how a space makes people feel. And as a designer, that’s YOUR responsibility.
Here’s what you need to know 👇
🟡 Warm White (3000K) - Soft & cozy. Perfect for living rooms and bedrooms where people need to unwind.
⚪ Neutral White (4000K) - Balanced & natural. Ideal for dining areas and waiting rooms where clarity matters.
🔵 Cool White (6000K) - Bright & focused. Best for bathrooms and task-heavy spaces that demand alertness.
Master this, and your design presentations will immediately stand out. 🎓

At The Designers Studio, our Residential Level 1 students completed their final presentations, and the results truly speak for themselves.
From concept boards and material selections to layouts and design storytelling every board reflects the fundamentals they’ve learned and the creativity they’ve developed throughout the course.
But beyond the boards, what stands out the most is the confidence, pride, and excitement you can see in every smile.
Because great design education isn’t just about creating beautiful spaces
it’s about building designers who are ready to present their ideas with clarity and confidence.
We’re incredibly proud of this group and excited to see how their design journey continues. ✨

Our Commercial 1 student, Shehlla Aisha, presented her final restaurant concept “Taza - Tradition, Made Fresh.”
Inspired by Pakistani culture and contemporary dining, the project thoughtfully blends warm textures, arches, earthy materials, and layered lighting to create a welcoming restaurant atmosphere.
The presentation included a complete design development process:
Design Brief, Tailored Palettes, Furniture Inspiration Board, Furniture Floor Plan, Elevations, Floor Finishes Plan, RCP, Electrical Looping, and detailed 3D Visualizations - demonstrating both creativity and technical understanding.
A well-structured concept translated into a refined dining experience.

Dear Students,
We hope you and your families are safe.
Due to the ongoing situation affecting the UAE, we have decided to postpone all (In-person & Online) classes for one week. Given the current circumstances, we believe this is the most responsible decision, as it may be difficult for everyone to fully concentrate and engage in sessions at this time.
We will resume classes after one week. We will share the new schedule with you soon .
We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Your safety and well-being remain our priority.
Thank you for your continued support.

→ Defined color palette
→ Real material samples
→ Functional floor plan
→ Curated furniture & lighting
This is what happens when fundamentals are done right 💡
At The Designers Studio, we build designers from the foundation — not just decorators, but thinkers with purpose.
