What happens when art moves beyond the page? 🎨

Our Year 5 students stepped into VR with Gravity Sketch, exploring 3D shapes, patterns, lines and form in an entirely new dimension.

Blending creativity with technology, students were able to draw, design and experiment around them, developing spatial thinking, problem-solving and creative confidence along the way.

A new space to create. A new way to imagine what’s possible.

As part of their Identity topic, our FS1 and FS2 children welcomed their families into SRI for a special Stay & Play, creating Family Crests inspired by the people, traditions and experiences that make each family unique.

An opportunity for our youngest learners to explore who they are, celebrate where they come from and share it with the community around them.

What happens when maths moves beyond the classroom?

Our Year 7 students took their learning across SRI, using spaces including the auditorium, dining hall and outdoor areas to measure sound levels and put their understanding of mean, median, mode and range into practice.

Turning the school itself into a learning environment, the activity gave students the opportunity to explore how mathematical concepts connect to the world around them, making learning active, relevant and real.

Because when students have the opportunity to apply what they know, learning goes further.
