Marking another year around the sun today ✨
Twenty six years with Dubai as home through many chapters of my life, alongside experiences across places and relationships that have shaped who I am.
This point in time arrives amidst so many shifts across the world, bringing clarity to what truly matters and highlighting the responsibility each of us carries in the way we show up and contribute.
I feel, yet again, a heightened awareness in the role we each play in shaping the fabric of our shared humanity, and service is reflected in how we show up for one another and in the choices that shape what we bring into the world.
As Khalil Gibran wrote,
“You give but little when you give of your possessions.
It is when you give of yourself that you truly give.”

An immersive eight-day journey through Beijing, Dali and Lijiang.
We move through imperial history and ancient architecture, mountain landscapes and village life, sacred temples and vibrant city streets. Along the way, we experience regional cuisine, traditional practices, local culture, and daily contemplative time woven into each day.
It is a journey through history, landscape, and living tradition; shared in meaningful company.
The retreat dates have recently been updated, and the new schedule is now confirmed.

A meaningful lunch co-created through the collaboration of and bringing together and an inspiring circle of women leaders.
Deep appreciation to and Diana Szyszka-Pompei for their vision and stewardship, alongside the many women whose presence shaped the tone of the afternoon.
There is something powerful about helping bring a room like this together; where generations meet, experience is shared with candour, and leadership is explored as an evolving practice.
Three reflections stayed with me:
Leadership begins within. The depth of our self-awareness informs how we lead and relate.
Visibility brings responsibility. True growth emerges when our public leadership reflects a deeply integrated sense of self.
Ecosystems flourish through collaboration. When women gather across sectors and nations, bridges strengthen; between Canada and the UAE and across the communities we serve.
Grateful to have played a role in convening this gathering and contributing to dialogue where meaning, humanity, and shared purpose converge.
