This week, our children stepped into the exciting world of transport and discovered how people travel across land, water and air.

Through sensory play with water and boats, trains and small cars, they explored different types of transport while developing their understanding of the world around them. Our role play took learning even further as the nursery transformed into Dubai International Airport. The children became cabin crew, travelled with their suitcases, practised passport control and explored what it means to prepare for a journey.

Through stories, imaginative play and hands-on experiences, children developed their Communication and Language, Physical Development, Understanding the World, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Literacy and the Characteristics of Effective Learning.

Today, one little caterpillar inspired a whole world of learning.

Our children explored the much-loved story The Very Hungry Caterpillar through hands-on experiences that encouraged imagination, creativity, communication, and discovery.

From creating colourful caterpillars and beautiful handprint flowers to acting out the story, feeding the caterpillar healthy fruits and vegetables, building butterflies with wooden blocks, and welcoming butterflies to our imaginative Flower Shop, every activity supported children’s development through meaningful play.

Today, our little campers are exploring the colourful world of fruits through exciting, hands-on activities.

We are creating beautiful fruit and vegetable prints using vibrant paints, transforming everyday produce into wonderful pieces of art.

Our young chefs are making delicious fruit kebabs with bananas, grapes, and watermelon. They are peeling and cutting bananas with child-safe tools, carefully threading the fruit onto wooden skewers, and enjoying a healthy, tasty treat.

Our beach-themed sensory play takes us on an adventure with a friendly dolphin, a beach ball, and a teddy bear visiting from Colombia. While listening to lively Latin music, the children are exploring seashells, strengthening their fine motor skills by transferring toy fruits with tweezers, and practising counting through play.

Throughout the day, we are singing fruit songs, sharing fun summer stories, and making wonderful memories while learning through play.

Book Day at Summer Camp – Pinocchio!

What a magical day filled with imagination, creativity, and learning!

Our children explored early maths by comparing small, bigger, and biggest noses, discovered different emotions through Pinocchio characters, created unique paintings using paper noses, worked together in exciting teamwork challenges, listened to the timeless story of Pinocchio through picture storytelling, and finished the day singing and dancing to The Pinocchio Song.

Every smile, every laugh, and every activity helped build confidence, communication, creativity, and friendships—because learning is always more meaningful when it’s full of joy.
