How many times have you let someone else’s decision become a statement about your worth?
A rejection becomes “I’m not enough.”
Someone else’s success becomes “I’m falling behind.”
Someone else being chosen becomes “What’s wrong with me?”
But Allah says:
وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ
“And We have certainly honored the children of Adam.”
Surah Al-Israa:70
Your worth was never meant to rise and fall with people’s opinions, achievements, relationships, opportunities, or approval.
And this is an important distinction for coaches:
We don’t coach someone into having worth.
We help them uncover the beliefs that made them forget it.
When we understand the psychology behind self-worth, comparison, and rejection, we can help clients move beyond surface-level reassurance and begin working with the deeper beliefs underneath.
Because sometimes healing isn’t about becoming “more worthy.”
It’s about realizing you were never without worth.🤍
