Egyptian-Themed Colouring Activity!

Our little explorers travelled back in time to Ancient Egypt through a fun and creative colouring activity!

The children coloured Egyptian-themed pictures featuring pyramids, pharaohs, camels, the Sphinx, and other Egyptian symbols.

Through this activity, they had the opportunity to:
Explore creativity and self-expression
Strengthen fine motor skills and pencil control

Cutting Activity: Cut a Turtle!

Today, our little learners had fun with a turtle-themed cutting activity! They carefully followed the lines and used scissors to cut out their own turtle.

This activity helped develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, scissor control, concentration, and confidence while making learning fun and creative!

Our little learners had a wonderful time exploring cloud dough!

They enjoyed scooping, squeezing, moulding, and creating different shapes while exploring the soft, fluffy texture. This hands-on sensory activity encouraged fine motor development, creativity, imagination, and sensory exploration.

Most importantly, the children had so much fun getting their hands messy while learning through play!

Addition & Subtraction Hunt!

Maths became an exciting treasure hunt at Nurturing Nook!

The children picked an addition or subtraction number sentence and then went on a hunt to find the correct answer. They counted, calculated, checked their thinking, and matched each number sentence to its answer.

Through this hands-on activity, the children developed their number sense, problem-solving skills, counting skills, and confidence with addition and subtraction—all while having lots of fun!

Who knew maths could be such an adventure?

A Wonderful Day at Sustainable City Private Farm!

Our little explorers had an amazing time visiting the Sustainable City Private Farm, where learning came to life beyond the classroom.

The children enjoyed meeting friendly farm animals, observing how fruits and vegetables are grown, and discovering the importance of caring for nature and living sustainably. They explored the beautiful surroundings, asked thoughtful questions, and experienced firsthand where some of our food comes from.

Trips like these help children develop curiosity, respect for the environment, and a deeper appreciation for the world around them. Hands-on experiences create meaningful memories that inspire lifelong learning.

Into the Forest at Terra!

What an incredible day of discovery! Our young explorers stepped into the magical Forest Zone at Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion, where they walked beneath giant “trees” and immersed themselves in the beauty of a lush forest.

Along the way, they learned how forests provide homes for animals, produce the oxygen we breathe, and play an essential role in keeping our planet healthy. Through hands-on interactive exhibits, the children explored the importance of biodiversity and discovered simple ways they can help protect our environment.

Watching their curiosity grow as they asked questions, explored every corner, and connected with nature was truly inspiring. Experiences like these remind us that the best learning happens beyond the classroom—through exploration, play, and meaningful real-world adventures.
