🔬 Grade 3 & 4 Science Fair
Celebrating Curiosity, Creativity & Student-Led Learning
Our Grade 3 and Grade 4 Science Fair was a wonderful celebration of curiosity, creativity and student agency.
Working around the theme of environmental protection, students took full ownership of their learning, developing their own research questions, planning investigations, analysing findings and presenting their conclusions in ways that reflected their individual interests and strengths.
What made the event truly special was the confidence, enthusiasm and pride our students showed as they shared their learning with parents, peers and teachers. Their ability to speak knowledgeably and passionately about projects they had designed and created themselves was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when students are empowered to lead their own learning.
Congratulations to all of our Grade 3 and Grade 4 students for their hard work, dedication and impressive scientific thinking. We are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished.

At UIS PYPX 2026, our primary students took centre stage to present their innovative projects, share their learning journeys, and showcase their incredible talents with confidence and pride. 💡🎤🎨
The PYP Exhibition (PYPX) is the culminating experience of the IB Primary Years Programme, held annually to celebrate student inquiry, research, collaboration, and action. It provides learners with the opportunity to explore real-world issues, develop essential skills, and share their findings with the wider community.
We were honored to welcome Rebecca Gray, Chief Education Officer of Taaleem, Sara Galadari, School Advisory Board (SAB) alongside our Principal, Colin Gerrie, and Head of Primary, Michael Dickie, who joined us in celebrating the passion, curiosity, and accomplishments of our young learners.
A heartfelt thank you to Geetha Ashok, PYP Coordinator, and Candice Oosthuizen, whose dedication and hard work helped bring this memorable event to life and beautifully reflected the spirit of inquiry and excellence at UIS. 👏
