🌊✨ Celebrating World Oceans Week ✨🌊
Last week, as part of our World Oceans Week celebrations, our Eco Leaders had the incredible opportunity to visit The Lost Chambers Aquarium in collaboration with DET’s Dubai Reef Project. πŸ πŸ’™

The morning was filled with engaging, hands-on learning experiences where students explored:
🐚 Coral reef ecosystems
🌍 UAE corals and marine biodiversity
🏝️ Artificial reefs and the Dubai Reef Project
🌊 Ocean conservation and protecting marine life

To make the experience even more inspiring, an outstanding Underwater Photography Competition by the Emirates Diving Association was showcased in reception, captivating students, staff, and families alike. πŸ“ΈπŸŸ

Across the school, a range of activities brought our ocean theme to life, helping everyone deepen their understanding of this vital and incredible ecosystemβ€”and how we can all play a part in protecting it. πŸŒŽπŸ’§

This meaningful collaboration not only raised awareness about the importance of coral reefs but also inspired our students to take action in preserving and enhancing our oceans for the future. πŸ’™

πŸ’™πŸŒŠ Celebrating Two Ocean Champions! πŸŒŠπŸ’™
We are incredibly proud to share these special photos of Isaac and his younger brother, Idris, standing alongside the stunning underwater images that have been enjoyed by our entire JPS community.
A huge thank you to their parents from the Emirates Diving Association for so generously donating these breathtaking photographs. The gallery has inspired countless conversations about our oceans and the importance of protecting them.
Isaac has been a phenomenal Eco Leader at JPS, demonstrating an unwavering passion for the ocean and marine conservation throughout his life. He has inspired both students and staff through his enthusiasm, knowledge, and commitment to making a positive difference for our planet.
It is equally wonderful to see Idris following in his big brother’s footsteps, already showing the same love and respect for the marine world.
Thank you, Isaac and Idris, for being such fantastic ambassadors for ocean conservation. We are so proud of the impact you have had on our school community and the legacy you are helping to create for future generations. 🌎🐠🐒

We’re delighted to welcome Shakespeare & Com from the UK, who will be working with our Year 5 students next week, culminating in an exciting Monologue Slam Competition!

We are also thrilled to be collaborating with the West End Stage team, who will be watching our Year 6 production and providing the main cast with professional feedback and top performance tips. As part of this fantastic opportunity, they are also supporting students with a recording of a song from *The Wind in the Willows* musical.

What an incredible experience for our young performers to learn from industry professionals and develop their confidence, creativity, and stagecraft. 🌟🎭
