يتمتع الدكتور عمير بخبرة تزيد عن 15 عاماً في مجال الاستشارات الهندسية المتقدمة ومشاريع البنية التحتية للطرق واسعة النطاق؛ حيث قام بتأليف 22 بحثاً علمياً محكّماً وطوّر منهجيات تعتمد على مفهوم "دورة الحياة" لتحسين الأداء الاقتصادي والطاقي والبيئي لأنظمة النقل.
