📚 **"Does Homework Actually Improve Learning?"**

Our young speakers confidently explored different perspectives on homework, demonstrating strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and respect for others' opinions. The panel concluded that homework helps students practise, reinforce learning, and develop responsibility when it is meaningful, manageable, and balanced with time for play, rest, and family.

Woodlem Park School Dubai hosted a successful Coffee Morning on 10 June 2026, bringing together parents from Pre-KG to Grade 12 for meaningful discussions on parenting and children’s well-being.

We were privileged to have a parent speaker lead an insightful session on “Emotional Wellbeing of Children,” highlighting the importance of nurturing resilience, emotional awareness, and positive mental health. The interactive discussions encouraged parents to share experiences, learn from one another, and strengthen our school community.

The English Department proudly announces and congratulates the Emirates-Level Winners in SpellBee competition for the academic year 2025 - 26, who have brought immense honour to the school through their outstanding achievements. Our Healthy Habits Session helped students understand the importance of personal hygiene, healthy eating, exercise, and proper rest. Through fun and interactive activities, students learned how healthy daily routines support their growth, well-being, and success.

Our phase 3 students took part in a meaningful and engaging session on Respecting Differences and Inclusion, designed to help them understand the value of kindness, acceptance, and appreciating the uniqueness of every individual. 💛

Through interactive discussions, reflection activities, and collaborative sharing, students explored how people may differ in their cultures, languages, interests, talents, abilities, and perspectives. They learned the importance of treating everyone with respect, including others, and celebrating the qualities that make each person special. ✨

Woodlem Park School proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of our young climate advocates, Hritvik Charkha (Grade 8D) and Vidit Srivastava (Grade 8C), at Season 3 of the Climate Conference hosted by Dewvale School.
Representing India among delegates from 10 schools, our students demonstrated outstanding research, critical thinking, and persuasive speaking skills as they addressed the pressing issue of air pollution. Their presentation explored its causes, impacts, policy gaps, and innovative solutions for a cleaner and more sustainable future.
Supported by a thoughtfully designed prototype and digital model, their ideas resonated strongly with the audience and judges alike.
