Established in the heart of Dubai in 2008, Saint Joseph University Dubai is the first international branch of Saint Joseph University of Beirut. The foundation of the university has been the result of an academic cooperation with the government of Dubai in order to offer young Emirati students a prestigious Bachelor of Law program under the framework of the Edaad for Leaders Initiative. Sharing the same vision of the mother campus in Beirut to serve the new generations in the United Arab Emirates with their cultural and human development needs, Saint Joseph University Dubai has taken part of the great project of the Emirate of Dubai to accompany and strengthen the urban and economic developments with cultural and academic developments. Saint Joseph University Dubai is committed to offering its students the best choices of degree programs designed to cater for their academic and professional expectations. Through its varied and interdisciplinary courses, students tend to enrich their education and prepare them to their future careers. جامعة سان جوزف دبي هي أوّل فرع دوليّ لجامعة القدّيس يوسف في بيروت. تأسّست عام 2008 في إمارة دبي بدولة الإمارات العربيّة المتّحدة، واندرج تأسيسها ضمن إطار المشروع الأكاديميّ الّذي وضعته حكومة هذه الإمارة من أجل تقديم برنامج بكالوريوس في القانون عالي الجودة للطّلّاب الإماراتيّين في إطار مبادرة إعداد القادة.

يترسّخ وجود الجامعة ضمن إطار المشروع الأكاديميّ الكبير لإمارة دبي الّذي يرمي إلى مواكبة النّهضة العمرانيّة والنّموّ الاقتصاديّ وتقويتهما من خلال التّنشئة الثّقافيّة والأكاديميّة. كما ويعكس فرع الجامعة في إمارة دبي رؤية جامعة القدّيس يوسف في بيروت ورغبتها في الانخراط في العالم العربيّ من خلال تثبيت حضورها الأكاديميّ والثّقافيّ وخدمة الأجيال الجديدة في دولة الإمارات العربيّة المتّحدة بما يتناسب مع احتياجاتها الثّقافيّة والإنمائيّة.

We were delighted to host, on 15 September 2026, the Masterclass on Intellectual Property and Consumer Protection at Saint Joseph University Dubai, bringing together distinguished experts from government, the judiciary, academia, industry, and legal practice.
The Masterclass explored the intersection of trademark law, consumer protection, and anti-commercial fraud, from both pre-litigation and litigation perspectives, providing valuable insights into the evolving legal and regulatory landscape in the UAE.
We were honoured to welcome H.E. Dr. Abdul Qudus Al Obaidli, Chairman of the Board of the Emirates IP Association, for the opening speech, followed by a welcome from Dr. Nathalie Sabbagh, Director of Saint Joseph University Dubai.
Our sincere appreciation goes to our moderators and speakers: Mrs. Hoda Barakat, Mr. Ahmed Ali Moussa, Dr. Rita Waked, Mr. Charles Chaban, Mr. Hamad Abdallah, Mr. Sherif Hikal, H.E.
