Celebrating the creativity and dedication of our Year 6 students🌙✨

We are incredibly proud of the outstanding effort our students put into their projects and extracurricular work exploring the Noble Hijrah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Their thoughtful creations reflected a deep understanding of the lessons, values, and significance of the Hijrah while showcasing their creativity and commitment to learning.

📚✨ Some of our Year 5 and 6 students shared their love of reading with our youngest students. As part of their BtC club, they created their own storybooks and visited FS2G to read them together. It was a wonderful opportunity to build confidence, creativity and a love of storytelling while creating meaningful connections.

The future of learning starts with our students. 🚀

As part of the IB Diploma Programme’s Collaborative Sciences Project (CSP), students from across the Group 4 sciences worked together to tackle a real-world challenge by designing an innovative feature for a proposed WIS campus in 2050.

Congratulations to our winning team, who surveyed staff and students before creating a smart classroom designed to enhance both learning and wellbeing.

One student’s idea is inspiring a whole community. 📚📵

When Aadit shared his thoughtful message about putting phones down and picking books up, he sparked an initiative that encourages everyone to pause, read and reconnect with the joy of learning.

His message reminds us that every great idea starts with a single voice, and that our students have the power to make a positive difference to our school community.

Today a reader. Tomorrow a leader. 📖✨

Engineering in action at WIS. ⚙️💡

As part of their Engineering Elective, our Year 8 students led an inspiring hands-on circuitry workshop for Year 5, demonstrating the power of cross-key stage learning. From teaching key concepts to guiding practical engineering challenges, they showcased outstanding leadership, collaboration, and communication.

Our Year 5 students proudly presented their completed circuits and explained the thinking behind their designs, highlighting curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving in action.

A wonderful example of student leadership, applied learning, and meaningful collaboration across our WIS community.

🇨🇳 A group of WIS students recently returned from an inspiring six-day cultural journey through Beijing and Shanghai, embracing the rich history, innovation and vibrant culture of China.

From the Great Wall and the Forbidden City to The Bund, Yu Garden and Nanjing Road, every experience broadened their perspectives and deepened their understanding of the world.

We are incredibly proud of the way our students represented WIS with curiosity, respect and exemplary behaviour throughout the trip. Experiences like these are at the heart of developing internationally minded, globally aware learners.
