Our ELL Bake-Off brought our GEMS of the World community together in a wonderful celebration of learning, culture, and achievement. From delicious homemade treats to inspiring student success stories, the event showcased the diversity, creativity, and sense of belonging that make WIS so special.

A true reflection of our family-first approach, students, families, and staff came together to share food, traditions, and connections while celebrating the many achievements of our learners.

Today, our Year 11 students came together for their Leavers’ Breakfast – a morning filled with memories, laughter, shirt signing, and heartfelt goodbyes. 💙

From sharing their favourite moments of the year to celebrating friendships and the journey they have shared, it was a special opportunity to reflect on their time at WIS before the next chapter begins.

We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and wish them every success for the future. ✨🎓

📱🌍 From AI and networks to data centres and automation, our KS3 students gained real-world engineering insights during a special industry session with Mr Anis Sinno, Head of Marketing for Middle East, Africa and India at Nokia.

Through interactive demonstrations and discussions, students explored how technology powers the world around us while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Meanwhile, our Sixth Form students interviewed Mr Sinno about Nokia’s role in the UAE, smart cities, 5G, AI-powered networks, and the future skills needed for careers in STEM.

By connecting classroom learning with industry expertise, this inspiring session gave students a valuable glimpse into the technologies shaping our future. 🚀

🏆 Congratulations to our Year 12 Economics team, The Economic Avengers, on their outstanding achievement in the prestigious World Economics Cup.

Competing against students from around the world, the team demonstrated exceptional knowledge, critical thinking, and innovation across a series of challenging economics assessments.

👏 Representing WIS were:
Sparsh, Aarav, Ishaan, Zoya, Kavya, and Hristo.

We are proud to share that the team earned the UAE Gold Team Award and has qualified for the Continental Finals, where they will compete against leading schools from across Asia and Oceania.

Their individual accomplishments were equally impressive:

⭐ Five students achieved Highest Distinction
