Our Story

‘COOL FIX©’ an Inspirational and Entertaining Reality Environmental Series delivered in a 'Magazine Style', specifically targeting the U.A.E. market but equally applicable and relevant for any country. The majority of the program time would be spent "out and about" showing how 'real people' are, and how they can live a greener lifestyle.

I would like to say a huge thanks to the team, and all those involved in the awesome TV series of ‘BLUE PLANET’ narrated by the one and only Sir David Attenborough. In case you didn’t know, Blue Planet II involved "125 shoots, 6,000 hours filming underwater and 1,000 hours filming in submersibles", explains production manager Katie Hall. The program’s filming took an incredible 4 years, WOW! I thought my time spent in the UAE giving talks, visiting schools, businesses and hours of writing emails begging for support for ‘COOL FIX’ was exhausting!

Viewers of ‘BLUE PLANET’ were heartbroken when seeing a whale dead with her calf ‘Poisoned by Pollution’ sadly with the mothers milk being contaminated by the plastic, thereafter making a pledge to cut plastic waste. There’s so much more we can all be doing to make our planet safer for both humans and other species that we share our wonderful mother earth with.

The aim of the series is to demonstrate to people why and how to live better and more environmentally sustainable lives in a fun and entertaining way; while at the same time introducing them to a new and innovative environmentally sensitive ways of living. In addition, the program will support local, national and international environmental initiatives, providing a forum for environmental groups (from schools, universities, colleges, local community and NGO’s) to share their good work with a wider audience.

The majority of the program will be filmed on location, i.e. homes, schools, offices, businesses and public places where the audience will see people in realistic everyday situations responding to the environmental challenges we face. The series will involve a cross section of the UAE society and our presenters will discuss with local people, school children and students, businesses, scientists, subject matter experts, celebrities and government officials what effect we are having on the environment, how big is our personal environmental impact and how we can each change our lifestyles to lead a more sustainable and healthy life.

EDUCATION is the key - the more we are aware of our own actions and the devastation we cause through our ignorance of the world around us, our planet could recover if we all took ACTION NOW, if not, then our planet and all those great and small will perish.
