My lip filler disappears in a few weeks..

In many cases it actually doesn’t

A lot of patients think their filler is gone, but when I examine the lips, there’s still plenty of filler inside

So what’s happening?

A strong lip muscle can compress the filler, making the volume less visible. Or it can push the filler inward, toward the inside of the mouth - so you stop seeing the projection

What can help?

First - Botox to relax the muscle

Second - fillers with medium density, which work more naturally with strong lip muscles

And third - if you want dramatic correction, a bullhorn lip lift. This surgery rotates the upper lip upward, making the hidden volume visible again
