Pupils at Brighton College Dubai had the exciting opportunity to take part in a day of creative workshops delivered in collaboration with Art Dubai as part of The Bigfoot Project.

Led by Lithuanian artist Tomas Daukša, alongside programme facilitator Dragana Djordjevic, the project invited pupils to meet a very unusual traveller: Little Bigfoot, arriving in Dubai and encountering an entirely new environment.

Pupils were challenged to imagine the world from Little Bigfoot’s perspective and create a space where the character might feel safe, comfortable and at home. Using an unexpected collection of materials, from floral sponge and dried plants to cardboard and clay, they designed and constructed their own miniature ecosystems.

Beyond creating, the project encouraged pupils to explore ideas of habitat, ecology and the environment, while considering how art can help us develop empathy and see the world around us differently.

It was wonderful to see pupils across different year groups experimenting, collaborating and bringing their imaginations to life through art. 🎨

Congratulations to our EPQ pupils on an exceptional set of results, with an outstanding 100% achieving A* grades.

Demonstrating remarkable academic curiosity, critical thinking, and independent research skills, pupils explored a diverse range of fascinating topics, including trust in the NHS, the influence of ethics, law and faith on medical decision-making, the science behind dissociation, and the potential of stem cell therapies in treating Parkinson’s disease.

𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗶 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗜𝗦𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀

We are incredibly proud to share our PISA 2025 results, with Brighton College Dubai achieving outstanding scores across all three core domains.

Our pupils achieved 541 in Science, 537 in Mathematics and 529 in Reading, placing our performance above the average for Dubai private schools in every domain.

Our results also reflect strong performance in the newly introduced areas of PISA 2025, with a score of 538 in Environmental Science and 555 in Computational Problem Solving, demonstrating our pupils’ ability to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges and the digital world.

PISA is an internationally recognised assessment of 15-year-old students, measuring their ability to apply knowledge and skills in science, mathematics and reading. PISA 2025 involved students across more than 90 countries and economies, with science as its major domain.

These results are a testament to the ambition and dedication of our pupils, alongside the expertise and commitment of our teachers.

The remarkable journey may be over, but the mission continues.

After 25 days, 3,333 kilometres and 54,000 metres of elevation climbed across Spain and France, the Cycling Against Cancer initiative has successfully concluded in support of Al Jalila Foundation. Every kilometre of the journey helped raise awareness and vital support for cancer research, treatment and patient care.

Brighton College Dubai extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mr Craig Lamshed, General Manager of Brighton College UAE, Mr Jimmy Wright, Brighton College Dubai Parent, and all the riders on this remarkable achievement. Their resilience, determination and unwavering commitment to this important cause have been truly inspiring, and we are immensely proud of what they have accomplished.
