What is life at BC Academy like?

It’s a little bit of everything.

There’s the everyday school life - lessons, sports, art, music and activities. Then there are the little moments in between: trying something for the first time, finding something you really enjoy, working things out with your friends, or simply feeling comfortable being yourself.

At BC Academy, we want our students to have the space to explore, the support to take on challenges and the confidence to keep trying.

We’re a small school, which means our community feels just that - a community. Students are known, supported and encouraged to be part of school life in their own way.

AI Makers - Autumn Tech Camp

This autumn half term, students aged 8–13 will use AI to build, design and create real projects they can take home.

From designing their own logo and avatar to creating a birthday invitation pack, building a live website and coding a playable game, every day brings a new hands-on project. Students will also explore how AI works, practise prompting, develop coding and digital design skills, and showcase their work at the end of the week.

This autumn half term, young explorers aged 5–8 can step back 65 million years for a week of prehistoric adventure!

From fossil excavations and volcano experiments to dinosaur challenges, outdoor games, cooking and treasure hunts, there’s plenty for our young explorers to get stuck into throughout the week.

What an afternoon at BC Academy! ✨

Our Leading Transformation in Early Years event brought together early years leaders, educators and passionate voices from across the sector for an afternoon of conversation, ideas and shared experiences.

From inspiring discussions to the launch of Childcare Superhero, it was wonderful to see our early years community come together, connect and share their perspectives on the future of early childhood.
