🤫 My Unusually Simple Copywriting Trick That Allows Me To Write High Converting Copy WITHOUT Writer’s Block And WITHOUT Staring At A Blank Page For Hours ⏱
Would you like to be able to write high converting copy literally on autopilot, one page after another?
Alright, now that I have your attention I can explain...
This is no rocket science, and yet it works like a charm.
Every single time I have to write copy, I do one very specific thing.
I put on my headphones (noise cancelling makes this even more effective), turn up the sound a little bit, mute all notifications, and put ONE song ON REPEAT.
That's right, just one song on repeat, even for hours.
I know what you're thinking.
"What? Dude is that it? That's complete nonsense!"
I used to think that too, but it works. And I challenge you to try it!
I can't guarantee it will work for you, but for me it just makes my fingers flow in an odd way and they just happen to hit the right keys that make people buy...
So why does it work?
I'm no scientist, but Tim Ferriss wrote about it in Tools Of Titans.
Playing a song on repeat makes it easier for your brain to focus and puts you in the flow.
Once you're in the flow (which for me happens literally after I listen to a song once), you can write pages of REALLY good copy without blinking.
I've used this dozens of times and it just works!
But not all songs are going to help you do this. Some may be really distracting and work in the opposite way.
So which ones will help?
I find this varies from person to person, but for me a song must be:
1) Chillout or lo fi hip hop
2) Must have no or very little vocals (spoken words distract the brain)
3) Must have a very 'repeatable' rhythm
It's really easy to test this for yourself, just play a few songs when you have to write copy and see what works.

How To Generate Customer Testimonials On Autopilot 😮
Ecommerce brand owners! Are you struggling to generate enough customer testimonials? Tired of the inconsistency and amount of work you have to put in to get them? Read on, I have a solution for you…
Alright so before I start - why are customer testimonials so important these days in ecommerce?
Well, you're trying to sell your product to people who may have not heard about your brand before.
Do you often buy stuff on the internet without checking reviews and testimonials first?
Probably not…
Depending on your prices, your customers may need A LOT of time and convincing to buy your stuff.
Written reviews are awesome, but because they have been abused by so many people who just faked them, people are trusting them less.
The solution? Video testimonials.
It's much harder to fake a video testimonial. Yes, you can pay someone to do a testimonial for you, but people will be able to tell something’s off.
Okay so how do you get video testimonials on autopilot? Let me give you some tips!
1️⃣ First, make sure you have a post purchase email sequence that you send to customers 1-2 weeks after they purchase. They have to have enough time to start seeing results from using your product.
Then, simply ask them if they're happy with their purchase and if yes, ask them to send you a video testimonial in exchange for a store voucher or a coupon!
Many people will be happy to do it if you phrase everything in a nice way.
This is a good way, but it's not the best...
There's one other really good strategy.
It's called a cash back program.
Essentially, you tell people that “hey, if you buy our product and get results, we will give you X amount of your money back in exchange for a video testimonial”.
If you want, you can also give them more free product. It's always better to give people more of your stuff than to give them money, but it's good to offer 2 choices.
Create a page in your store, list all the criteria, the things they need to supply, the email address where they email their videos, and that's it!
It's also a good idea to provide people with a list of things you want them to say. It always takes some of the pressure off their shoulders. They don't have to think about what to say. They just say it!
By using this simple process, our clients regularly generate video testimonials on autopilot… ✈️

To all ecommerce business owners who work with agencies/freelancers or consider engaging an agency/freelancer:
Don’t ever accept anything other than ROAS or profit reporting.
Don’t be deceived by CTR, CPC, CPATC, or some other weird sounding acronym...
In the end, these things don’t matter as much as your bottom line.
I’ve been speaking to a lot of ecommerce business owners in the past few days. I am shocked by the amount of agencies/freelancers who deceive their clients by NOT reporting on ROAS, profit, or ROI.
Last week I spoke with a client who has been in business since 2016.
First, his business partner ran their ads.
Then, they parted ways, and he hired an agency.
For 12 months, this agency tried to use knowledge of human relations to compensate for the fact that they couldn’t provide results better than the owner himself…
They only reported on ROAS during good ROAS months.
When ROAS dropped, they always found an excuse to blame, never taking responsibility.
If you’re working with an agency or a marketing freelancer and you don’t get regular ROAS or profit reports, maybe it’s time to reevaluate your relationship.
If you never get net ROAS (without VAT/sales tax/shipping) or profit reports (money left after paying for the ad spend, shipping, production, etc.), then run.
Seriously.
You are most likely not getting results.
