Our Most Improved Handwriting winners enjoyed a very special trip to Ms Sasha’s house for an ice cream celebration!
Over delicious ice cream, the children chatted about why handwriting is important, shared their favourite writing tools and stationery, and even enjoyed a glimpse into Ms Sasha’s home. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the dedication, perseverance and pride these children have shown in developing their handwriting throughout the year.
A huge congratulations to all of our winners , your hard work has certainly paid off! We hope this special celebration inspires even more children to take pride in their presentation and enjoy the joy of putting pen to paper.

We are delighted to welcome Kelly Devlin to Victory Heights Primary School, Sports City as a Classroom Teacher.

Kelly brings a wealth of experience in literacy, phonics and early childhood development. Most recently, she has been a Literacy Lead and EYFS Teacher at DESS Academic City, Dubai, where she supported whole-school literacy development, coached staff in phonics delivery and strengthened home-school partnerships through parent workshops.

Previously, Kelly served as Early Years Lead at Mountfields Lodge School in the UK, where she managed a team of staff, developed an innovative EYFS curriculum and ensured high standards of teaching, learning, pastoral care and inclusion across the phase.

We are excited to have Kelly as part of the VHPS Sports City family, as we continue to build a community where every child can flourish.

We are delighted to welcome Natasha Stoddart to Victory Heights Primary School, Sports City as a Classroom Teacher.

Natasha brings nine years of teaching experience across London and Dubai, with a strong background in curriculum leadership and creating nurturing, engaging classrooms where children feel valued, challenged and inspired to succeed.

Previously, Natasha served as KS2 Class Teacher, at Kings’ School Al Barsha and History and RE Lead at Malmesbury Primary School in London, where she supported strong academic and personal progress, led curriculum development and contributed to a successful Ofsted inspection.

With a degree in Primary Education with QTS, Natasha brings warmth, creativity and a collaborative approach, with a passion for fostering curiosity, confidence and a genuine love of learning in every child.

We are excited to have Natasha as part of the VHPS Sports City family, as we continue to build a community where every child can flourish.

We are delighted to welcome Ellie Graham to Victory Heights Primary School, Sports City as a Classroom Teacher.

Ellie brings a warm, enthusiastic and compassionate approach to education, with experience across primary teaching, childcare, sport and youth development. With a PGDE in Primary Education from the University of Strathclyde and a background in Sports Science, Ellie brings creativity, energy and a strong understanding of children’s physical, social and emotional development.

We are excited to have Ellie as part of the VHPS Sports City family, as we continue to build a community where every child can flourish.

We are delighted to welcome Meghan Henry to Victory Heights Primary School, Sports City as a Classroom Teacher.

Meghan brings nine years of experience across both UAE and Irish school settings, with a strong background in upper primary teaching, inclusive practice and student wellbeing. Most recently, she has been a Year 5 Class Teacher at Kings’ School Al Barsha, where she delivered high-quality learning aligned with the National Curriculum for England and created a supportive, engaging classroom environment where every child could thrive.

With a Bachelor of Education from Trinity College Dublin/Marino Institute of Education and a Postgraduate Diploma in Inclusive and Special Education, Meghan is passionate about supporting diverse learners and ensuring each child feels valued, motivated and challenged to reach their full potential.

We are delighted to welcome Orla Connolly to Victory Heights Primary School, Sports City as a Classroom Teacher.

Orla brings over 10 years of experience across premium British international education in Dubai, pastoral-focused schooling in Ireland, and multi-grade teaching environments. Most recently, she has been a Primary Classroom Teacher at Kent College Dubai, where she taught across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering high-quality learning.

With experience leading wellbeing, digital learning, sports and STEM initiatives, Orla brings warmth, creativity and a future-focused approach to teaching.
