Kindergarten and Grade 1 celebrate St. Martin on November 11th, 2019.

The lantern procession starts at 6.00 pm and ends at 6.45
pm. Meeting point is at 5.50 pm in the park, at Gate 2 (Al
Wasl Road). Please note: the parking is charged.
The sale of the Weckmänner & Martinsgänse (traditional
German sweet pastry, from Baker's Kitchen) takes place on
the 11.11. at school, in the morning from 7.45 to 8.45 am,
and at pick-up time, in the foyer of the kindergarten and
the school.

On Saturday, December 7th, the annual Christmas Bazaar takes place at DISD. We are looking forward celebrating the festive season with the whole DISD community. Save the Date and look out for more details soon!

The Parents Café has been moved to next Tuesday, October 8th.

From 8 to 9 a.m. the topic will be "We are digital". The Head of the Digitalisation Team, Mr. Kristoffer Reul, will talk about the start of digitalization at DISD and will be available to answer your questions. Culinary support will be provided by Organic Foods & Café. Many thanks for your understanding.

On Sunday our Afternoon-Activities start! This includes an amazing range of Martial Arts Classes, like Taekwondo, Judo and Karate.

We are looking forward, to invite the school community to the annual Iftar in the school canteen. On Monday, May 20th, the annual DISD Iftar takes place in the school canteen. We are looking forward to break the fast with all students, parents and staff members. Like last year we will offer an Arabic buffet. Further, the event will be supported by GAAST LLC again.

Tickets are 70 AED per adult and 35 AED per child and are being sold at the cashier's office and at the reception.

The DISD principal and school administration wishes everyone a blessed Ramadan.
