As a KHDA TVET-licensed institution, we are approved to deliver accredited vocational education in the UAE. Our In-Studio Diploma is also accredited by AIM Qualifications and leads to a globally recognised British Level 3 qualification, equivalent to a British A-level.

A big thank you to Build Station | محطة البناء and Scavolini Dubai for visiting the National Design Academy and sharing such valuable insights with our students.

From kitchen design details to materials, finishes and real project considerations, the session gave our students a closer look at how design moves from the classroom into the practical world.

Thank you also to LimeSpace for organising and informing such an insightful session, helping create a meaningful link between education and industry.

Opportunities like this make a real difference, giving future designers a better understanding of the industry beyond the brief, the board and the final render.

Colour is never merely decoration 🎨✨ In summers, choosing the right colour palette, can soften the light, freshen the mood, and make a room feel instantly more inviting.

For this part of the project, one of our students explored colour schemes through a series of seasonal interior palettes, moving from sun-warmed analogous tones to calm coastal blues, fresh green accents, earthy contemporary neutrals, and soft blush and sage combinations 🌿🌊

Each palette captures a different summer design mood.

🍑 Apricot and coral bring warmth and energy
🩵 Powder blue and cerulean create a cool, coastal calm
🌿 Muted olive and warm green add natural balance
🤎 Mocha mousse and tapestry blue offer quiet refinement
🌸 Blush pink and sage green bring softness, ease, and timeless charm

✨Student Work Spotlight✨

A closer look at Amanda Edmunds’ Interior Design Project, a boutique hotel-inspired bedroom concept built around mood, materiality, and meticulous detail.

Titled City Seduction, Amanda’s scheme explores a rich Verdant Nocturne Luxe palette, bringing together British racing green, velvet upholstery, grasscloth wallpaper, layered lighting, brass accents, and considered furniture planning.

From concept development to surface finishes, furniture selection, lighting strategy, and technical drawings, this project shows how a strong design narrative can translate into a refined and functional interior.

A beautiful example of design thinking brought to life through atmosphere, texture, and detail.
