Colour is never merely decoration 🎨✨ In summers, choosing the right colour palette, can soften the light, freshen the mood, and make a room feel instantly more inviting.

For this part of the project, one of our students explored colour schemes through a series of seasonal interior palettes, moving from sun-warmed analogous tones to calm coastal blues, fresh green accents, earthy contemporary neutrals, and soft blush and sage combinations 🌿🌊

Each palette captures a different summer design mood.

A closer look at Amanda Edmunds’ Interior Design Project, a boutique hotel-inspired bedroom concept built around mood, materiality, and meticulous detail.

Titled City Seduction, Amanda’s scheme explores a rich Verdant Nocturne Luxe palette, bringing together British racing green, velvet upholstery, grasscloth wallpaper, layered lighting, brass accents, and considered furniture planning.

From concept development to surface finishes, furniture selection, lighting strategy, and technical drawings, this project shows how a strong design narrative can translate into a refined and functional interior.

In a world of screens and software, hand sketching feels almost… revolutionary.

Here’s a glimpse into our recent workshop, where students explored the fundamentals of sketching through live sessions, hands-on drawing, and real-time feedback.

While digital tools are key, sketching remains essential. Often the fastest way to communicate an idea is still pencil on paper.
