We were treated to a fantastic assembly yesterday by Year 3 Purple and Yellow, who proudly showcased everything they have learned throughout the year.

From earthquakes and rainforests to Ancient Rome, they have explored a wide range of fascinating topics and achieved so much during their Year 3 journey. Well done, everyone!

What a way to wrap up an incredible year of primary swimming! To round off the season, our amazing swim squad headed to the DASSA Finals at the Hamdan Sports Complex to go head-to-head with top schools from across Dubai.

Our students represented us with absolute brilliance, immense pride and stellar sportsmanship, ultimately powering their way to a fantastic 3rd place finish overall in their division.

A massive well done to every single swimmer for their relentless hard work, passion and dedication throughout the entire year. You smashed it!

We were delighted to honour the winners of the first season of our Short Story Writing Competition and welcome Emirati writer, media personality, and influencer Walid Al Marzouqi as our special guest.

🤖 Meet BOB, Uday’s Brilliant Robotics Showcase

Uday in Year 8 delivered a fantastic presentation for his end-of-year SLI topic. He focused on STEM and robotics, creating his very own robot, BOB. Uday demonstrated a range of robotics and programming skills, using sensors and coding to enable BOB to perform colour detection, motion detection, and even a game of hide-and-seek. He confidently explained the technology behind each feature and showcased his impressive understanding of robotics. A special thank you to Keigo for supporting the development of the presentation ideas.

To engage his audience, Uday also created a quick Gimkit quiz to test the class’s understanding of the robotic skills and concepts he had demonstrated. This was an excellent end-of-year presentation that combined confidence, life skills, ambition, future-focused research, and audience engagement all in one. Well done, Uday!

This morning, we had the pleasure of welcoming our wonderful PTA members to a special Thank You Breakfast in recognition of their dedication and support throughout the academic year.

From helping to bring our National Day and Around the World Day celebrations to life, to supporting stage setups, Arabic and Islamic initiatives, charity bake sales and so much more; their contribution has played an invaluable role in enriching the experience of our students, staff and wider school community.

Thank you for being such an important part of the Dubai Heights Academy family!

Our FS2 students had a fantastic time during their visit to Carluccio’s, where they stepped into the role of pizza chefs for the day.

Dressed in aprons and chef hats, they learned how to prepare their own pizzas, carefully stretching the dough and choosing their favourite toppings before tasting their delicious creations at the end! 🍕
