Mr Saeed Al Ketbi an IT student at AlDar University College is participating in the 32nd Idea International conference in the UK

Engineering students at Al Dar University college had an Arduino workshop By
ZERO OHM company which was held on the 25th of October.

IEEE at Al Dar University College participated in Cyber Quest activities that were held during 7-10 of October 2018 in the Festival City Arena in Dubai.

The team that won first place in the cyber quest competition for Universities consists of three members one of them was from Al Dar University College, Miss Qamar Taqwa

The Dean of SET had a meeting on 25th of September with the students of SET and discussed with the students the proposed activities for the upcoming academic year 2018-2019. A number of academic and non-academic activities along with different types of workshops were proposed. At the end of the meeting a new committee for the IEEE chapter at AlDar was elected.
This year there will be a lot more activities and trips to science fairs and conferences.

Smart support, who participated with their project : Interactive Rehabilitation Support System and won the Third Place in the community service under the supervision of Dr Sujni .

The competition was held today on 28/4/2018 in University of Dubai and was joined by students from all over UAE Universities.

IEEE Students in Al-Dar University College
Attended the Annual general Meeting organized by the IEEE section in UAE where the ieee students and the supervisors did brainstorm session about the creative ideas which have been suggested to improve the section such as student activities , technical activities & member’s benefits..

Engineering students and IEEE members in Al Dar University College organized an Android studio workshop which was held on 11th of January ,it was represented by Maryam Ahmed , Mona Al-Hashimi , Alaa Helal and Aya Al Sheikh Omar under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Al-Gindy and Dr. Benu ..

This workshop was prepared for the beginners to help them understand basic Android programming ,and it covered many topic like ..
•What is Android studio ?
•How to install and download it ?
•How to open it ?
•Android architecture .
•Defining of tool windows and Designer tool
•connecting between two pages ?
•The way to connect your physical device ?
•Sample of our work.

At the end of this workshop the students were able to download this program and build a simple app where they added two numbers together .
