Tapasya Centre for Kathak is a cornerstone for learning Kathak dance in Dubai. Tapasya came into being with a passionate vision to impart training in the field of Kathak Dance preserving the essence of 'Guru Shishya Parampara' (The relationship between the student and teacher). Rooted in the Indian dance tradition of Kathak, Tapasya is constantly exploring creative ways of bringing out the essence of Indian dance. Over the years 'Tapasya' has evolved under the creative leadership of Vaishali Mhaisalkar & has adapted its own distinct style of presentation by fusing ethnic & modern genres of dancing. Tapasya is a decade old now and it aims at creating international awareness about this timeless dance form.
